It’s easy to get out and about, and explore all that we have to offer
More than ‘sea-sun-sand’, discover our many natural-beauty attractions … our islands are also alive with friendly hospitality with a rich cultural heritage.
Getting around Provo is easy enough with rental cars readily available, scooters and bike shops, as well as convenient taxi service.
A valid driver’s license is required to drive in the TCI.
With many restaurants, shops and other amenities concentrated in the Grace Bay area, walking is an option as well and many visitors enjoy strolling the beach to explore the range of accommodations available here.
Taxis and rental cars are available at the main port of entry, Providenciales International Airport, which is about a 20 minutes drive to the Grace Bay area where most of our hotels and resorts are located.
For special occasions or VIP transport, there are several limousine and executive transport firms, offering stretch limos, town cars and high end SUVs.
Transportation to other islands is available by boat or plane. InterCaribbean and Caicos Express Airways are the primary inter-island airline with regular flights to Grand Turk, North Caicos, Middle Caicos, South Caicos and Salt Cay from their Providenciales hub. Check their web site for up to date schedules. Private resorts such as Parrot Cay and Pine Cay are available via boat transport for guests.
Regular ferry service is available between Providenciales and North Caicos and South Caicos from the marina on the Leeward end of Provo (Walkin Marina) to Sandy Point Marina in North Caicos, and Cockburn Harbour, South Caicos.
All of our family islands have available taxi service and the larger ones such as Grand Turk and North Caicos also have rental cars available.
