Kisiwa, meaning “Island” in Swahili, takes inspiration from both traditional colonial Caribbean architecture with influences from East Africa.
A rich palette of materials, including hardwood floors, reclaimed beams and genuine thatch give authenticity to the architecture. Along with select pieces of Kenyan furniture, décor, and fabrics, the experience is that of a true island villa.
Boat Charter
- Reserve a stay of seven nights or more at Kisiwa House and receive a complimentary half day boat charter for up to 12 guests.
- Guest count above 10 to a maximum of 12 will require transportation to the Marina to board a larger boat. (transportation not included)
- Should be booked at time a reservation and is subject to availability.
- Half day charter must be taken within the first three days of arrival.
- Half day charter are available between 8AM -12Noon and 1PM -5PM.
- The boat charter is operated by Big Blue Collective on their 32ft power catamaran M/V Kusi for 10 guests and below.
- The half day charter includes refreshments and snorkel gear.
- The half day boat charter may be upgraded to a full day, change to a larger boat or a scuba diving trip.
- Upgrades are subject to availability from Big Blue Collective at an additional cost to the guest.
- The Complimentary Boat Charter is subject to availability and holds no cash value.
